rodgers park neighborhood and normally when there is a fire in a high-rise building or a building with multiple occupancy extra units are usually dispatched and luckily that was the case to put today but this building where there were 11 people injured. seven people were taken to area hospitals and the condition red which is critical three were in a condition yellow and swan was in condition green. the fire broke out in a smoky blaze this morning at around 10:00. in an apartment building north winthrop. 84 story building but it contained 48 apartments. a single room occupancy for many of them and scores of residents in the building. when firefighters arrived on the scene they saw many units and new that they had individuals
